So I'm not sure how that happened, but August is over and with it summer vacation. It always goes quickly, but this year was somehow so much faster. I think it's because we had so little down time, trying to get in as much normalcy as possible after last year. The kids had more camp, sports practices & games, visits with grandparents and cousins and we finally finally got back to Maine after almost 2 years away. Oh and our construction project started after many months of planning, which was super exciting until the hurricane arrived and essentially stopped work for nearly 2 weeks. Yay. We ended the month with a week long vacation in Maine, exploring new spots like the botanical gardens in Boothbay, and having a lot of beach and boating fun before the kids went back to school. Bring on September and all things fall!
