Chris and Adam's Wedding - Great Diamond Island, ME

August 24th, 2019 was one of the most special days I've ever witnessed. I was told that approximately 180 people were invited to this wedding. 176 people RSVP'd yes. It's pretty rare to have almost every single person invited to a wedding actually show up. When we were planning our wedding, I think the general rule of thumb was to expect about 20% of people to RSVP no, so to have almost every person invited in attendance says something pretty special about the couple getting married.

Chris and Adam got married on an absolutely stunning day, at an absolutely stunning location, with all of their family and friends surrounding them to celebrate, and I was so lucky to be both a photographer and a guest at this wedding. I got to witness and capture their love for each other, their dog Wylie, their families and friends, as well as the love that everyone there has for them. And I got to dance! There were so many smiles, laughs and happy tears throughout the day. And let's not forget the best wedding toast ever given. Like, ever. It was at once touching, emotional, personal and laugh til you cry hysterical. I will never be able to describe how perfectly it was written and delivered. Everyone danced til the very end, then booked it to the ferry (with flowers!) to make sure they didn't have to swim back to Portland. Chris and Adam, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this day for you. Cheers to a long and happy marriage!
